James Robinson is a highly acclaimed executive with over 20 years of experience in creating digital experiences and building brands.
James has held numerous executive roles in the past, including Head of Global Marketing for Pro Host at Airbnb, where he oversaw the $10B professional hosting category. At Ladder, a life insurance provider, he led marketing efforts and helped revolutionize dynamic online term life insurance. As Vice President of Marketing for Mosaic, he played a key role in building the company to over $3B in annual revenues.
James also has a successful track record of creating and leading creative teams. As Head of Creative Services for Amazon Advertising, he built a team of over 100 creatives and launched co-branded campaigns with leading brands such as Universal Pictures, Sony, American Express, Unilever, and MasterCard. He was awarded several patents while at Amazon and won the company’s first advertising awards.
Prior to Amazon, James led design as Group Creative Director of Ascentium, where his team designed enterprise e-commerce solutions for major brands such as T-Mobile, Microsoft Office, and Precor. He also co-founded Mercury Cloud, a Seattle-based experience design firm that designed award-winning digital experiences for leading brands such as Oakley, Smith Optics, Musicland, Microsoft, and Olsen Kundig.
James co-founded Agency180, an Atlanta-based digital marketing firm, and holds a degree from the University of Georgia. He currently serves on the board for The Red & Black, the University’s independent student-run newspaper.
